Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

As an Assembler, you will work in a structured manufacturing environment where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail are important. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive production team, build on your assembly skills, and contribute to the accurate completion of parts and subassemblies. Candidates who enjoy working with tools, reading instructions, and producing high-quality work will be well suited for this position.

• Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements.
• Use hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, crimpers, and related assembly tools.
• Read basic wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work documentation to complete assigned tasks accurately.
• Inspect completed work to confirm quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following manufacturing procedures.
• Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned.

• Pay rate: $19.00 per hour, W2.
• Schedule:
  
  7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension.
• Location:
  
  Westford Road, Ayer, MA 01432.

• Assemble parts and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment.
• Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Use hand tools to complete mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience required.
• Basic mechanical or electrical assembly knowledge required.
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly instructions, and basic wiring schematics.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, hardware, and proper tool usage.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation required.

• Mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred.
• Experience using drills, torque wrenches, crimpers, or similar manufacturing tools preferred.
