Audit Semi-Senior - Aylesbury

Clark Wood are currently working with a leading accountancy practice in Aylesbury who are looking to add an Audit Semi Senior to their growing team.

As an Audit Semi Senior, you will play an active role in delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with senior team members to ensure work is carried out accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements. You will perform detailed audit testing, prepare well‑organised audit files, and support the team in producing clear, insightful financial information for clients.

The role will see you liaising regularly with clients, building strong working relationships, and ensuring they receive an excellent level of service throughout each assignment. You will also have the opportunity to develop your technical skills through ongoing training and CPD, while contributing to the wider team and supporting continuous improvement within the audit function.

The ideal candidate will be part‑qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA (or actively studying), with experience gained within practice, particularly in audit and accounts preparation. You will be organised, personable, and confident in communicating with both colleagues and clients. A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.
