Senior Accountant | Aylesbury Vale | £40,000 £ 50,000 DOE | Full Time A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Aylesbury Vale is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its friendly, professional team. This is a hands-on role offering varied client exposure, autonomy, and clear scope to progress as the practice continues to expand. The Role Working with a diverse portfolio of SME clients, youll be responsible for delivering high-quality accounts and tax work, supporting clients day-to-day, and helping to maintain excellent service standards across the team.

Key responsibilities:

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Producing and reviewing management accounts Preparing corporate and personal tax returns Supporting VAT returns and bookkeeping work where needed Liaising directly with clients, answering queries and providing guidance Reviewing work and supporting/mentoring junior team members Assisting with practice improvements and helping drive efficiencies About You To be considered, youll ideally have: ACA/ACCA qualified
