Aylesbury practice where bookkeeping is treated as a valued part of the service — not an afterthought. You’ll take responsibility for your own client work, keep records clean and compliant, and build relationships with people who appreciate reliable support.

• Day-to-day bookkeeping using cloud accounting platforms
• Keeping ledgers accurate and reconciled, ready for accounts/VAT deadlines
• VAT returns and compliance support across a range of clients
• CIS submissions and contractor bookkeeping where applicable
• Handling registrations and HMRC liaison as needed
• Spotting issues early and keeping clients on track (rather than firefighting late)

• Have practice or multi-client bookkeeping experience
• Are confident taking work through to trial balance
• Understand VAT well and can work to deadlines without chasing
• Have CIS exposure (helpful, not essential)
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
