Construction Sub Agent, Site Manager

About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture of Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall, delivering civil engineering works for high‑speed rail projects.

We are seeking a Sub Agent to join our Engineering team based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire.

Responsibilities include assisting with construction strategy, leading kick‑off meetings, preparing pre‑commencement documentation (Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes), managing procurement and design deliverable schedules, coordinating with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works, managing the site engineering team, ensuring compliance with contract and safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) requirements, producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contributing to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent, and working toward institute membership (ICE)
• Knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• Must have own transport to attend remote sites.
• Full driving licence required.
• Must hold the following competencies:
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS White, White‑Yellow, Red – Experienced, Black – Manager or Gold – Supervisor

Pre‑employment checks, including references, , driving licence and right to work in the UK, will be undertaken. BPSS security clearance is required, to be completed as part of onboarding.
