As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant in Aylesbury, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You'll help students develop confidence, build positive relationships, and re-engage with learning. Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff, you will deliver tailored support, manage behaviour effectively, and create a safe, nurturing environment for every learner.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with SEMH and associated learning needs in 1:1 and small group settings    Assist with implementing behaviour and learning strategies    Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom atmosphere    Work collaboratively with staff and external professionals to support student progress

The ideal Mental Health Teaching Assistant will:
