Are you a qualified English Teacher or English Specialist looking for a long-term contract in the new year with a wonderful secondary school based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire?
Academics Ltd are working with a 'Good' school in Buckinghamshire who are looking to appoint an English Teacher to join them from April 2026 teaching and delivering English. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) or an English Specialist who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.
This is also a great opportunity for someone who is looking to go down the teaching route.
Responsibilities- Passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management
- Can plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of all abilities
- Is interested in the science of learning and is committed to continuous improvement
- Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to the team, has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life
- Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life‑chances of our students
- Degree in English or related field
- Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS
- Experience with online teaching platforms
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary - M1-UPS Pay Scale - £36,413 - £53,994
