Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher for one of our partner schools in the Aylesbury area. The Role
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
Create practical and theoretical learning experiences that develop scientific knowledge and enquiry skills.
Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with differing abilities and learning styles.
Deliver high-quality teaching across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as appropriate to the role.
Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and safe practical work in the classroom and laboratory.
Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students to achieve strong outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching Science at the appropriate key stages.
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach across one or more Science disciplines.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to inclusive teaching and raising student achievement.
Strong organisational skills and a proactive, reflective approach to teaching and learning.
