This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on children's lives and family wellbeing. You'll join a friendly, collaborative team that values your contribution and supports your growth. We offer ongoing training and opportunities for training and professional development while working in a rewarding environment.

As our Family Support Officer you will work:

  • Collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for students by delivering a range of family support interventions and activities.
  • You will provide advice, guidance and signposting to help families access relevant services.
  • Part of the role will be acting as Attendance Officer, working to improve attendance and punctuality of students across the school.
  • Organise and run two‑week holiday clubs across the schools.
  • Work with children who are at risk of exclusion from school supporting them and their families.

What We Can Offer You:

  • Ample free onsite parking.
  • Large staffroom with resourced kitchen with complimentary hot and cold beverages.
  • Employer contribution pension scheme, with Life Cover.
  • Access to employee benefits including discounts on travel and purchases from local shops, cafes and restaurants.
  • 24 hour free, confidential Employee Assistance Programme.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and promoting positive outcomes for all.
  • Relevant childcare, education, social care or health qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Ability to take personal responsibility, demonstrate a readiness to reflect and self‑evaluate.
