The role of an Unqualified Teacher
  • Supervising students and ensuring they complete pre‑planned tasks.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Assisting pupils with questions and providing guidance.
  • Adhering to the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
  • Collecting and handing in completed work to the Head of Department.
  • Offering feedback on lessons and student engagement.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An undergraduate degree in a subject area such as Chemistry, PE, Business Studies or Computer Science.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence and adaptability.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
