SEN Teacher - Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for learners with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and autism
• Implement sensory-based strategies to support behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
• Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support EHCP targets
• Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

SEN Teacher - Requirements

• Must hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)
• Experience supporting pupils with SLD, autism, and sensory behaviours is essential
• Strong behaviour-management skills and a calm, compassionate approach
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
• A genuine passion for working within SEND education
