SEN Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to inspire young minds within a supportive and inclusive educational environment in Aylesbury. The successful SEN Teacher in Aylesbury will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' academic progress, and fostering a positive learning environment where all pupils can achieve their full potential.

A specialist school in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced SEN Teacher to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis from September.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students' individual abilities and learning needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
  • Support students' academic progress, confidence, and personal development.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
The Ideal Candidate

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for inspiring and motivating young people.
  • Local to Aylesbury
