Location:
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Full-time – Temporary to Permanent
Start Date:

Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and adapting resources to suit individual needs.
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Implement EHCP targets and work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff.
Support pupils with personal care where required.
Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
Candidate Profile Previous experience working with children with SEN is preferred.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
