Role: Key stage 1 primary Teacher

Location: Aylesbury (Buckinghamshire)

Salary: £29,344-£44,919 – MPS - USP

Full time – Temporary to Permanent

Start: September 2026

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our dynamic primary school in the Aylesbury area. If you’re enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum to young learners, ensuring they develop essential skills across all subject areas. You will create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
  • Assess and track students' progress, identifying areas where additional support or challenge is needed
  • Develop and implement a variety of teaching strategies to cater for different learning styles and abilities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students' social and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members and parents to support the overall well-being and development of pupils
  • Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a safe, respectful space for all students
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching in KS1 or a similar setting
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and current educational practices
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • A passion for working with young children, with a commitment to their academic, emotional, and social development
