Role OverviewAs a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum to young learners, ensuring they develop essential skills across all subject areas. You will create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Assess and track students' progress, identifying areas where additional support or challenge is needed
- Develop and implement a variety of teaching strategies to cater for different learning styles and abilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students' social and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with other staff members and parents to support the overall well-being and development of pupils
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a safe, respectful space for all students
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching in KS1 or a similar setting
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and current educational practices
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- A passion for working with young children, with a commitment to their academic, emotional, and social development

- £100 for referring a friend referral fee for any successful referrals of friends or colleagues who work 5+ shifts
All successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check which must be maintained throughout the period of employment and meet Safer Recruitment standards.
