Academics are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Art Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026, offering an exciting leadership opportunity within a well-resourced and highly successful Art department.

Responsibilities:
Leading and managing the Art department
Teaching Art at KS3 & KS4, with potential opportunities at KS5
Developing and implementing a dynamic and engaging Art curriculum
Mentoring and supporting Art teachers within the department
Driving departmental initiatives and fostering a culture of artistic excellence

Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as an Art Teacher, with the ability to lead and manage a department
Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE)
Legal right to work in the UK
Passion for art and a commitment to inspiring students
