A leading Further Education provider is seeking a Plumbing Lecturer to join its growing Construction and Skilled Industries department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional looking to move into education, or an existing lecturer seeking a new challenge. You'll deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions, helping learners develop the technical skills, knowledge and confidence required for successful careers in the plumbing industry.
The role will involve teaching across a range of plumbing programmes, supporting learners throughout their studies and contributing to the development of an exciting and expanding curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching across plumbing programmes
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging practical and classroom-based lessons
- Support learners to achieve their full potential and progress into employment or further study
- Monitor, assess and track learner progress and achievement
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities
- Complete associated administration and learner documentation
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or related discipline
- Relevant industry experience within the plumbing sector
- Passion for developing the next generation of trades professionals
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Teaching qualification desirable but not essential
- Industry professionals looking to move into teaching are encouraged to apply, with full training and support available
- Salary of £37,200 - £41,880 per annum
