This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, modern Further Education college that is committed to developing industry professionals into outstanding educators. No previous teaching experience is required, with full support and funded teacher training provided.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Electrical Installation sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and technical ability needed to succeed in industry.

The ideal candidate will have practical Electrical Installation experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in Electrical Installation and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long-term career in education.

The Role:

Deliver practical Electrical Installation instruction and workshop support.
Assist lecturers in delivering engaging practical lessons.
Supervise learners during workshop activities.
Maintain tools, equipment and workshop facilities.
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
Full teacher training provided.
Monday to Friday.

The Person :

Industry experience within Electrical Installation.
Level 2 qualification or above in Electrical Installation.
Hands-on practical skills and good technical knowledge.
Good understanding of Health & Safety.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
No teaching experience required.
Looking for a long-term career in education.
