Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering customised lessons and adapting resources to meet individual pupil requirements.
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Implement EHCP targets in close collaboration with the SENCO and teaching staff.
Provide personal care support to pupils when necessary.
Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour accurately and promptly.
Candidate Profile

Experience working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Holds, or is willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
