We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient, and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. Many of our pupils have experienced trauma or face diverse learning challenges; they need an educator who understands that "behaviour is communication" and who can provide the empathy and stability they need to flourish.

Initial contract will be fixed term until 31.08.26, however with the possibility of a further contract / permanent position

As an LSA, you will work closely with class teachers to deliver a fun, functional, and tailored curriculum. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Tailored Support: Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Active Supervision: Ensuring a positive school experience by supporting safe play and social interaction during break and lunchtimes.
• Safeguarding Excellence: Maintaining a culture of vigilance and adhering strictly to KCSIE statutory guidance to keep our children safe.

It would be desirable although not essential to have:

• Experience of working with children
• Good standard of education minimum English & Maths

• To play a full part in the life of the school, attending a selection of charity and social events, sports days and PTA events to raise money for better school resources.
• To ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times, in line with the school’s Confidentiality Statement.
• To promote a positive image of the school among parents and in the wider community.
