At The Kingsbrook School we are recruiting for an Administrator for the Inclusion Unit (The ARC) to joinour team.

The post is based at the Inclusion Unit(The ARC) at The Kingsbrook School, which is a specialist Inclusion Unit catering for young people with Education Health Care Plans and who have SEMH astheir primary need. There are 25 students currently placed in The ARC in years7-10, a further 7 will be placed next academic year until the provision reaches its maximum capacity of 32.

We are looking to appoint an Inclusion Unit Administrator to work closely with the SENCO, assistant SENCO(ARC), specialist teaching staff, intervention leads and assistant teachers tooversee the day-to-day management of the provision. You will have a high level of personal drive and energy to be able to contribute to improving standards for students in the school. This includes leading and delivering personalised interventions (e.g. Thrive, sensory circuits, Lego therapy) to support the specific SEMH needs of each student,ensuring the unit is a safe, calm, therapeutic and educational provision.

Therole involves line-managing the Inclusion Unit intervention leads and assistant teachers and communicating and working collaboratively with teachers, school leaders, families, and external agencies to ensure outstanding, inclusive support for young people who struggle in mainstream settings.

The right candidate must have a strong presence as well as excellent behaviour management skills and the ability tobuild rapport and relationships with vulnerable children. You will have experience in SEMH, Positive Behaviour Support, trauma and/or attachment informed approaches. You must be committed to student progress and be able to inspire those individuals to overcome barriers to their learning.
