We want our children to...
- Come through the doors excited to learn.
- Feel safe, valued and loved.
- Be curious about the world around them.
- Have the confidence to have a go, make mistakes and try again.
- Develop independence and resilience.
- Talk, explore, imagine, create and wonder.
- And, most importantly, discover what makes their own light shine.
- Are you an inspiring Early Years practitioner who believes that every child has a light inside them just waiting to shine?
Are you bubbly, energetic and enthusiastic, with a passion for creating magical learning experiences for young children? Do you understand that the very best Early Years classrooms are places where children are curious, confident, independent and excited to learn? We are looking for a passionate and inspirational EYFS2 Phase Leader to join our team and lead our Reception provision. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference to children at the very beginning of their school journey and who understands just how important these formative years are.
We want someone who will bring energy, creativity, warmth and ambition to our Early Years team. Someone who will walk into the classroom and immediately make children think, "I can't wait to find out what we're doing today!",
Be the kind of practitioner who gets down on the floor, gets involved in children's play and thinks, "How can I make this even more exciting?"
Be the person who sees a child's fascination with dinosaurs and turns it into a language opportunity, a mathematical investigation, a writing experience and a reason to come running into school the next morning.
Be someone who understands that exceptional Early Years practice is both joyful and intentional.
Be a leader who can inspire a team to continually ask: "What do our children need next, and how can we make it happen?", Puts children at the heart of everything you do and genuinely believes that every child can flourish.
Key Responsibilities and Attributes- Is bubbly, enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring, bringing positivity and excitement to the classroom every day.
- Has a deep understanding of the EYFS and what high-quality provision looks and feels like.

- Is confident in identifying children's starting points and using this knowledge to ensure that provision meets the needs of all learners.
- Wants children to develop a love of learning, confidence, resilience and independence.
- Is an excellent role model who can inspire and support colleagues and lead a phase with enthusiasm and purpose.
- Is reflective and ambitious, always looking for ways to make provision even better.
- Believes passionately that every child deserves the opportunity to find their light and shine brightly.
We are a school with a strong sense of community and a genuine commitment to helping every child flourish. Our vision, "Let your Light Shine," is not simply words on a wall. It is at the heart of how we think about our children, our staff and our school. We want our staff to shine too. You will join a team that values collaboration, professional development, creativity and doing the very best for children.
We are ambitious for our pupils and are committed to ensuring that our Early Years provision gives every child the strongest possible foundations for their future.
