Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience managing large-scale NEC contract packages?

Location:
North Aylesbury (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE + benefits package to be discussed at interview

Join a growing team working on the monumental HS2 Project, responsible for a critical section of works, including earthworks, drainage, highways, and structures, valued at £(Apply online only) million. You will manage significant subcontract packages, valued at approximately £4-5 million, ensuring the commercial success of the works from start to finish.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, your duties will include:
Full commercial management of subcontract packages (approx. £4-5 million)
Managing NEC contracts and handling claims (prolongation, EOTs)
Overseeing subcontractor management and supply chain activities
Forecasting and managing project budgets
Client-facing commercial support
Leading and developing junior members of the commercial team
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (10+ years total experience)
Extensive experience with NEC contracts
Strong background in managing large civil engineering subcontract packages
Experience handling prolongation claims and extensions of time
Experience in heavy civils (highways, rail, water, energy)
Experience managing a team
