Salary: £35,000+ DOE | Overtime Paid at 1.5x

Hours:

Mon‑Thu 8:00‑16:30 | Fri 8:00‑15:30

Company Van Provided: LWB/MWB/VW Crafter

Looking for a hands‑on engineering role you can be proud of? Join a family‑run industrial cleaning equipment business and be the expert keeping machines and customers running perfectly.

• Diagnose, repair & replace electrical & mechanical components: motors, relays, batteries, contractors, circuit boards, pulleys, belts, bearings & more.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on battery, mains, and ICE machines.
• Use hand/power tools & electrical testing instruments to troubleshoot.
• Read and work from schematics, wiring diagrams & mechanical drawings.
• Complete reports with photos/videos and recommendations.
• Give expert advice to customers and collaborate with the team on recurring issues.
• Maintain your van's inventory for smooth daily operations.

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer in electrical & mechanical repair.
• Strong diagnostic & problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of DC/AC electrical systems & mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to work independently and safely on‑site.
