Electrical Designer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Designer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise and proven experience delivering electrical design solutions across a range of commercial and industrial projects, particularly office fit‑out environments.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality electrical designs from concept through to completion (Stage 0–Stage
5), ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and project specifications.

• Produce detailed electrical designs using industry‑standard software such as Trimble and/or Electrical OM
• Carry out lighting calculations and design using Dialux
• Develop electrical designs in compliance with BS7671 and current Building Regulations
• Review tender documentation to ensure all technical requirements are identified and met within our design submissions
• Design projects across all stages (Stage 0–Stage
  5), from concept through to construction and handover
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients and external consultants to ensure designs are fully integrated
• Support project delivery through technical input, design reviews and problem solving
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Design
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as Trimble and/or Electrical OM
• Experience using Dialux for lighting design and calculations
• Strong technical knowledge of BS7671 and UK Building Regulations
• Experience reviewing and interpreting tender documentation
• Ability to deliver designs across all project stages (Stage 0–Stage
  5)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in office fit‑out electrical design
• Experience using Revit
