About The Role

At EKFB we’re shaping infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high‑speed rail projects. We are looking to recruit a Landscape Clerk of Works to join our team based in Aylesbury.

You will oversee the delivery of landscape design packages, ensuring quality adherence to specification, checking workmanship and materials, and ensuring all design requirements are met. On‑site and in‑office, you will assist with early landscape and ecology mitigation oversight, attend programme meetings, audit and check works to support payment applications, and interpret technical drawings and designs to facilitate delivery through site teams and subcontractors.

You will manage delivery tracking, progress reporting, reporting against ITP criteria, and unblock barriers to delivery ahead of potential delays. You will also assist in managing the design change process, liaising with designers and stakeholders to close out changes to tight timescales, and be involved in route‑wide design requirements in terms of the Environmental Statement (ES) and relevant U&As.

The role includes assurance that key landscape design elements are included, health and safety and ecology requirements are met, and design specifications (SCEW) are adhered to on site. You will provide evidence to assist with early warnings, general communications with subcontractors, and maintain programmes for reporting and demonstrating compliance with applicable legislation and industry best practice.

You will help implement BS EN ISO
14001 certification and audit against the standard and internal procedures, working collaboratively with the wider Environmental Team, client, designers, community, stakeholders and public relations managers to achieve the programme and actively promote good environmental practice.

In return, we’re offering a competitive salary & benefits. If you would like to be part of our collaborative, enthusiastic and forward‑thinking culture, please apply today.
