Location: Buckinghamshire (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + up to 15% bonus + study support
A growing and well-established financial services organisation is looking to appoint an Investment Analyst to join its investment team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an analytical background in investments, finance or actuarial to develop their career within a collaborative environment, working closely with senior stakeholders on investment reporting, portfolio analysis and governance. The role is based in Aylesbury with a hybrid working pattern of three days in the office each week.
The RoleYou'll support the Chief Investment Officer and wider investment team, producing high-quality reporting and analysis to support investment decision-making and governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual investment and credit reporting.
- Analysing investment and credit portfolios to provide meaningful insights.
- Producing high-quality management information (MI).
- Preparing reports for governance and internal committees.
- Supporting investment governance meetings and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Assisting with ongoing projects across the investment function.
- Ensuring compliance with FCA and PRA regulatory standards.
- Supporting the wider investment team with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong analytical skills and is keen to build a career within investments.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in an analytical role within investments, asset management, pensions, insurance, finance or actuarial.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Knowledge of financial instruments such as bonds, equities, funds or derivatives.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Salary up to £60,000
- Up to 15% annual bonus
