DM Planning Officer (x5) — Buckinghamshire — £39 per hour guide — Initial 4 Month Contract — Job  - 64029

My Local Authority Client in Buckinghamshire is looking to source experienced planning officers across the council, offering up to 5 positions.

Hybrid working; initial office-based induction period. Site visits required across a mixture of locations - Driving preferred (Business Insurance needed).

• Managing a significant backlog of applications.
• High-volume, repetitive casework requiring efficient turnaround.
• Need for officers who can quickly integrate and work independently.
• Ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Uniform and Idox systems desired.
• Local Authority experience desired.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Strong understanding of planning regulations, local plans, TCPA, and best practice.
