Duration: 6 Months
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £23 – £34 per hour

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and professional Band 6/7 Pharmacist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities:

You will primarily work within the Dispensary. You will dispense medications accurately and efficiently. You will provide pharmaceutical care and advice to patients. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will manage stock levels and order supplies as needed. You will perform some work on Wards as required. You will conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice to healthcare staff.

You will participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings. You will support the implementation of medication safety initiatives. You will educate patients and healthcare professionals on medication use and safety.


Requirements:

  • Education and Qualifications:
    • GPhC Registered.
    • 1 year pre-registration training.
    • Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC.
    • Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
