Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Pay: £18.54 per hour

Hours: 28 per week over four days (08:30 – 15:30, weekdays & term time only)

You’ll be supporting a young boy of 10 who due to an acquired brain injury requires support with complex needs such as left side weakness and visual impairment, mobility issues and mild speech difficulties. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

• Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience of supporting SEN students in a school environment.

You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and his family.

• Assist with personalised routines
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Maintain accurate care records and report any changes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
