As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing companionship, personal care, medication management, meal support, and domestic tasks to the residents at The Chestnuts care home in Aylesbury. You will also support the clients' mobility and social activities. The role requires a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK, and both full-time and part-time hours are available, including alternate weekends and day and night shifts.

What is required from you?

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities
    - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
