Join our supportive multi-disciplinary team as Health Care Assistant at Woodlands House! Woodlands House is a 20-bedded forensic low secure male ward specialising in services for people with enduring mental illness. Many of our service users have had experience of the criminal justice system in the past.
Our care is rooted in the Recovery Model, emphasizing individual strengths, hope, and meaningful engagement. We actively encourage family involvement. We have established very effective ways of working with the service users to help them identify and reach their goals, whilst keeping them safe and supporting them onwards to a new life in the community. If you are successfully shortlisted, our Recruitment Day which is designed to give you a real feel for life at Oxford Health.
You'll have an extended period to meet our teams, learn about our services, and show us what you can do.
We are an innovative and dedicated multi-disciplinary team, so you will have the opportunity to work closely with nursing, medical, psychology and occupational therapy team members. We will need you to be dynamic and committed by actively contributing to and supporting the recovery process, as well as maintaining the high standards of patient care whilst working within a safe, secure and supportive environment.
