Senior Account Manager Logistics Services

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: Up to c £42,000 (depending on experience) + great benefits

Were working with a growing organisation in the logistics sector, looking for an experiencedSenior Account Managerto join their team.

In this role, youll be the main point of contact for a key account, ensuring smooth planning and delivery of large-scale events and the logistical challenges involved. Youll balance strong customer relationships with commercial awareness confidently managing expectations, having challenging conversations when needed, and ensuring projects run profitably without compromising service.

What youll be doing:

• Managing client accounts from enquiry through to event completion
• Preparing quotations, schedules, and event documentation
• Coordinating logistics, vehicles, crew, and equipment
• Being available during events (including some evenings/weekends)
• Working closely with internal teams to keep operations on track
• Resolving issues quickly, always keeping service levels high

What were looking for:

• Previous experience and knowledge gained in event management, trade shows or similar
• Experience managing complex client relationships at a senior level
• Knowledge of event logistics (vehicles, routing, crew management)
• Calm under pressure, highly organised, able to multitask
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel essential); knowledge of warehouse/ordering systems useful
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to support out of hours / weekend requirements as necessary
