The EU International Logistics Manager will be responsible for 3PL contract Management and the day-to-day execution of the 3PL warehousing and logistics providers across the EU territory. Responsible for delivering customer excellence for both D2C and B2B models. This role is a critical member of our global logistics team, as well as leading the end-to-end strategy, selection, onboarding, and setup of new 3PL partners to support our expanding European distribution network.

This position will focus on ensuring both agreed KPIs and budgets are met for the EU territory. To oversee outbound freight from our main warehouse in Aylesbury to EU 3PL, including export documentation and carrier performance (ensuring compliance). This will ensure service level delivery is met across B2B and D2C routes.

Operating within a GMP and GDP and any additional regulated environments, the position ensures all outbound logistics meet required quality and regulatory standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring the logistics function scales with the business, working closely with the broader supply chain, planning, customer operations, and regional partners. Project lead in the introduction and exit plans of business partners.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and engagement of the EU-based fulfilment activity
  • Management control and contractual accountability for the EU 3PL’s and logistic service providers.
  • Ensure our business partners are aligned to our B-Corp sustainability goals and deliver on agreed commitments.
  • Maintain consistent and efficient inbound and outbound movements. Including to maintain 3PL productivity and despatch routines
  • Day-to-day escalation point for EU operational challenges to ensure that business goals are not derailed.
  • Work closely with EU GM and Global Head of Logistics to ensure critical focus is given to the required areas.
  • Support execution of the overall business plan strategy to deliver year-on-year objectives.
  • Inventory management of EU stock, working with the Supply Chain team to ensure minimum stock levels are in place. Monitor and ensure controls are in place for damages, shrinkage and stock write off.
  • Seek out longer-term improvements and relevant investments to drive productivity / ensure scale up to meet the business plan.
  • Facilitate monthly KPI reviews with 3PL partners - ensure delivery and corrective actions are in place. (Including penalties applied where applicable.) Work on continuous improvement and cost-down opportunities.
  • Ensure that our partners are audit-ready, including to meet the specific regulatory requirements for storing and transporting our raw materials and finished goods.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing both in-house and 3PL outsourced solutions within a retail, e-tailer environment. Fast-paced, preferably Pharma, Beauty or FMCG fulfilment.
  • Proven Partner Onboarding: A track record of successfully executing new partner setups, from initial site sourcing and integration to go-live stabilization.
  • Strong understanding of EU 3PL logistics providers and how they operate in this complex territory.
  • Good knowledge of systems interfaces and interactions, including being fluent as a user.
  • Confident in managing operational costs and performance, with a solid grasp on budgets and commercial impacts. Ability to both challenge and support.
  • Flexible in approach to working hours - early or late interactions as required (balance).
  • Experienced in leadership and communication at all levels.
  • Familiarity with quality process GMP and GDP requirements.
  • Hands-on - proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Operational project management experience.
  • Strong negotiable skills - contract tendering, set up and delivery.
