Assistant Manager – Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our shop in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The role offers a permanent full‑time position working a variety of shifts across 5 days per week, usually including at least one weekend shift. Full‑time employees are expected to be fully flexible in availability throughout the week, including weekends.

Salary: £30,240 – £33,948.94 per annum on a 43‑hour contract.

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide excellent service to customers.
• Develop your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
• Act as the shop manager in their absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Support recruitment and induction of new team members.
