Job Summary
Following the current postholder’s promotion, the Care Group Director of Operations for Community and Rehabilitation will report to the Chief Operating Officer and lead the Care Group’s performance management to support the Trust’s key strategic and business objectives.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally with partners across the Thames Valley Integrated Care System.
- Lead the Care Group’s performance and staff wellbeing, ensuring operational, financial and quality targets are met.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Chair and Director of Nursing to deliver the Buckinghamshire Integrated Neighbourhood strategy.
- Manage the Care Group’s large and complex teams, driving change and ensuring effective line management and staff development.
- Oversee the delivery of complex projects and business plans within budget, working across organisational boundaries.
- Represent the Care Group to the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leadership, managing stakeholder expectations and providing strategic direction.
- Relevant degree or equivalent; evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Experience building and managing large, complex teams.
- Proven success in delivering complex projects and business plans within budget.
- Strong line management and staff development record.
- Experience driving and managing change in a large organisation.
- Experience working effectively across organisational boundaries.
- Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders, including upward and external relationships.
- Well‑developed planning, strategy and implementation skills.
- Band: 9 (Salary range: £112,782 to £129,783 per annum)
