£29,640 – £31,200 DOE + 15% Shift Premium

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and ambitious engineering manufacturer based in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking production team operating at the forefront of its industry.

Our client is looking for an organised and motivated Fitter & Assembler with a strong manufacturing background to join their expanding production department on the PM shift.

Working Hours

37½ hours per week:

Monday – Wednesday: 1:30pm – 11:30pm
Thursday: 1:30pm – 11:00pm
(Includes a 15% shift premium)

The Role

Reporting to the PM Team Leader, you will play a key role within the Production team. You will be supported across the business and work within a collaborative and quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reading and accurately interpreting engineering drawings (primarily Third Angle Projection)
Carrying out precision fitting and assembly work
Following working instructions from engineers, project managers, and supervisors
Completing tasks as directed by the Team Leader
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience in fitting and assembly
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail
Essential Attributes

Ability to solve problems and prioritise workload
Comfortable working under pressure
Able to work independently and as part of a team
