We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and ambitious engineering manufacturer based in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking production team operating at the forefront of its industry.

Our client is looking for an organised and motivated Fitter & Assembler with a strong manufacturing background to join their expanding production department on the PM shift.

Working Hours

37 hours per week:

• Monday Wednesday: 1:30pm 11:30pm
• Thursday: 1:30pm 11:00pm

(Includes a 15% shift premium)

The Role

Reporting to the PM Team Leader, you will play a key role within the Production team. You will be supported across the business and work within a collaborative and quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and accurately interpreting engineering drawings (primarily Third Angle Projection)
• Carrying out precision fitting and assembly work
• Following working instructions from engineers, project managers, and supervisors
• Completing tasks as directed by the Team Leader
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in fitting and assembly
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
