TIG Welder - Late Shift

Location:

Aylesbury - Commutable from High Wycombe, Thame, Bicester, Leighton Buzzard, Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas
Salary: £38,188 - £40,653 per annum (inclusive of 15% shift premium, DOE)
Shift Pattern:
Monday - Wednesday 1:30pm - 11:30pm | Thursday 1:30pm - 11:00pm

We are recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Aylesbury. This is a permanent PM shift opportunity within a professional production environment where precision, quality and continuous improvement are central to operations.

TIG Welder Responsibilities
  • Carry out TIG welding and fabrication work as directed by the Welding Supervisor
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings (primarily Third Angle Projection)
  • Ensure company procedures and quality standards are adhered to
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within your work area
  • Participate in quality control processes and report defects immediately
  • Carry out MPI and Dye Penetrant inspections where required
  • Book jobs and record work using the EPICOR MRP system
  • Record information for welder qualification purposes
  • Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure work is completed safely, accurately and on time
What We're Looking For
  • Certified / coded TIG welder (or open to becoming coded)
  • Minimum 2 years' TIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working in a fabrication and production environment
