Ensuring all cleaning, sanitisation and disinfecting processes are executed in a safe and meticulous manner required for the production of our premium skincare products as we continue to grow.

For this opportunity, we are offering up to £27,000 depending on experience. Working Monday to Friday onsite.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed manual cleaning, sanitisation and disinfection of all processing equipment, semi‑automated production machinery, conveyor systems, filling assemblies, and mixing vessels to prevent cross‑contamination and ensure operational readiness.
  • Completing all cleaning schedules, deep cleaning, sanitisation and disinfection of production floors, walls and surfaces, ensuring they are consistently free from dirt, dust, spills and manufacturing debris within the production environments.
  • Ensure all log books, checklists and hygiene equipment status indicators are up to date.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols, with strict adherence to work instructions (SOPs), cleaning instruction cards and departmental schedules to maintain consistently hygienic and GMP‑compliant standards.
  • Ability to safely handle, prepare, dilute and suitably store a range of cleaning chemicals and agents (detergents, disinfectants) in compliance with COSHH regulations.
  • Carry out and complete particle and/or bacterial swabbing to prove the effectiveness of cleaning practices.
  • Ensure the correct and safe operation of all cleaning equipment is maintained.
  • On a daily basis efficiently manage and dispose of all production and general waste materials (including hazardous waste) in accordance with company SOP’s and environmental guidelines.
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental protocols, including the consistent and correct use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, aprons, gauntlets, face shields, boots and uniforms.
  • Provide clear communication with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to schedule tasks efficiently, minimising disruption but not compromising on standards.
Requirements
  • Previous hygiene cleaning experience is required, preferably within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment (cosmetics, food or pharmaceutical desirable).
  • Experience working with COSHH and knowledge of the safe handling, dilution and use of industrial cleaning chemicals, disinfectants and sanitisers.
  • An unwillingness to compromise attitude when it comes to the commitment to maintaining extremely high standards of cleanliness in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) setting.
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles (desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a production team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good verbal communication skills to relay status updates and issues effectively.

The skincare products that we make are safe for consumers all over the world. This is enabled through attention to detail in the design, validation and execution of our cleaning protocols. The successful candidate will be passionate about driving and maintaining the highest standards.
