The Principal Product Developer leads product development for a key industrial customer in EMEA, driving innovation and differentiation through new technologies. The role manages UK-based Product Development projects, ensuring excellence in customer engagement and technical delivery, while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to create market-preferred products using McCormick’s global innovation and technical expertise.

• Lead and manage the UK Product Development team projects to deliver best-in‑class flavour solutions.
• Develop and launch innovative and renovated seasoning products to drive growth.
• Oversee medium‑ and long‑term innovation pipelines aligned with business strategy.
• Build and strengthen customer partnerships, driving technical collaboration and intimacy.
• Translate business objectives into impactful, differentiated product designs.
• Deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality flavour solutions using technical and culinary insights.
• Identify and close technology gaps to support long‑term product and process advancement.
• Ensure project excellence through clear planning, execution, and cross‑functional alignment.

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
• Proven hands‑on experience in seasoning or dry blend product development.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of technical leadership.
• Previous team management experience will be an asset.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
• Deep understanding of B2B relationships and how to drive value through technical partnership.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Creative, results‑driven, and adaptable with strong business acumen.
• Passionate about innovation, quality, and delivering market‑preferred products.
