Cnc Miller Programmer Setter Operator

My client is a well established and forward thinking precision engineering business operating at the forefront of modern manufacturing. They support a range of high specification industries and are known for investing heavily in state of the art machinery and advanced manufacturing technology. The business is continuously evolving, embracing new processes and innovation to stay ahead in an ever changing engineering landscape.

They are now looking to recruit a CNC Miller Programmer Setter to join their growing team. This is a hands on role suited to someone who is confident programming while also being happy to be on the shop floor setting and running machines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming CNC milling machines, ideally using Hyper

MILL, as well as setting and operating the machines to ensure efficient production. This is not a pure offline programming role. You will be expected to load machines, carry out setups and support the overall machining process from programming through to production.

Key responsibilities:

* include CNC milling programming

* Machine setup and operation, loading and proving out jobs, and ensuring parts are produced to a high standard.

* You should be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of jobs from start to finish.

Hyper

MILL experience is highly desirable, however strong CNC milling programmers with similar CAM backgrounds will still be considered. My client is looking for someone who is proactive, reliable and capable of working in a fast paced precision engineering environment.
