5-Axis CNC Miller

CNF Precision Engineering Limited, established in 1967, is a precision engineering company based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Specializing in precision machining for various industry sectors, including Aerospace & Defence, Medical, Electronic, Analytical, Scientific, and Motor Industries. CNF operates with a focus on continual reinvestment in the latest machining technologies, offering 3, 4, and 5 Axis Multi Pallet CNC Milling, Sliding Head CNC Lathes, and multi-axis Mill/Turn capabilities.

This is a full-time on‑site role as a 5‑Axis CNC Miller programmer/setter/operator located in Aylesbury. The 5‑Axis CNC Miller will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high‑quality machined components to drawing and specifications. CAD / CAM experience is preferred and ideally with Open Mind Hypermill. We would consider anyone with alternative 5‑Axis CAD experience. Daily tasks include programming and setting up modern Matsuura multi pallet machining centres, monitoring the production process, and conducting quality checks to ensure precision and accuracy.

• Proficiency in operating 5‑Axis CNC machines ideally Matsuura
• Experience in programming using CAD/CAM ideally Hypermill.
• Experience with precision machining in Aerospace, Medical, or related industries to AS9100
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Hours are Mon - Thur 8:00am to 17:30pm and Fri 08:00am to 13:00pm

Holidays = 23 days per year plus bank holiday

Overtime = Usually unlimited and paid at 1.5x after 40 hours worked that week

Salary = Depending on experience but ranging from £19.00 - £23.00 per hour + overtime
