Salary: £29,640 - £31,200 per annum (DOE)

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Fitter & Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out fitting and assembly of components to a high standard.
Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings.
Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure products are manufactured to specification.
Maintain excellent attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently where required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Comply with all Health & Safety policies and company procedures.
Assist across different production areas when required.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Previous fitting and assembly experience.
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
