Location:
Aylesbury
Salary: £29,640 - £31,200 per annum (DOE)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter & Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Aylesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter & Assembler with experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will play an important role in assembling high-quality products, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a hands-on production environment, take pride in their workmanship and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Fitter & Assembler , you will be responsible for:
Carrying out mechanical fitting and assembly of components to a high standard
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings
Following work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure products are manufactured correctly
Using hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively
Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
Identifying issues and supporting problem-solving activities
Maintaining excellent attention to detail and ensuring quality standards are achieved
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production department
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Supporting other areas of production when required
What we are looking for We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter & Assembler with:
Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
Experience in mechanical fitting and assembly
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working from Third Angle Projection drawings would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
