Fitter & Assembler (Mechancial Assembly)

Location:

Aylesbury
Salary:£29,640 - £31,200 per annum (DOE)

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Fitter & Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out fitting and assembly of components to a high standard.
  • Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, including
    Third Angle Projection
    drawings.
  • Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure products are manufactured to specification.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently where required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and company procedures.
  • Assist across different production areas when required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Previous fitting and assembly experience.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings, including
    Third Angle Projection
    drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
