Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer 4 on 4 off (7pm-7am) Leicester £61,800 We are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Leicester. This is a great opportunity to join a highly automated production site. You’ll be responsible for responding to breakdowns, completing preventative maintenance and supporting ongoing improvements to equipment performance, reliability and efficiency. If you’re a proactive engineer who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and making a tangible difference to production performance, this could be the role for you.

The role:

You will be responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely, efficiently and reliably. Your responsibilities will include:
Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise production downtime Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and repairs Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment Driving improvements in OEE, machine performance and reliability Working closely with Production and other site teams to improve operational standards Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation Supporting audit readiness and compliance requirements Identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvement solutions Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

About you:

We’re looking for a technically capable and proactive engineer who enjoys working in a fast paced production environment. Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above Previous experience within an automated production environment
