Our client, a global engineering technology business, are looking for an Account Manager
- Electronic Components to join their team on a permanent basis covering the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to take ownership of the UK&I territory, developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships across a range of engineering markets. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, supported by an established international team.
responsibilities of the Account Manager
- Electronic Components job covering the UK:
- Develop and manage key customer accounts across the UK & Ireland.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within target engineering markets.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, providing commercial and technical support.
- Grow market share across sectors including aerospace, defence and industrial engineering.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to negotiation and account development.
- Work closely with technical sales, marketing and international colleagues to support customer requirements.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and identify opportunities for continued business growth.
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events as required.
- Electronic Components job covering the UK:
- Proven track record in technical sales, account management or business development.
- Experience selling into engineering or electronics markets.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Experience managing and growing customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK & Ireland.
