## Description Housing Support Officer – Temporary Accommodation    Aylesbury    £20 per hour    3-Month Contract    We are currently recruiting for up to Housing Support Officers to support a specialist Temporary Accommodation scheme based in Aylesbury on a 3-month contract.
This role will oversee a 42-bed temporary accommodation scheme, providing short-term placements (up to 83 nights) for individuals with complex support needs, including:
Domestic Abuse
Substance Misuse
Mental Health
Multiple and complex vulnerabilities    

The Role    You will be responsible for the day-to-day support and coordination of residents within the scheme, ensuring appropriate safeguarding, support planning, and move-on arrangements are in place.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a 42-bed TA scheme and monitoring occupancy levels
Supporting residents with complex and multiple needs
Working closely with housing options teams and external support agencies
Carrying out welfare checks and risk assessments
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to
Managing move-on within 83-night placement limits
Maintaining accurate records and case management notes
Addressing low-level ASB or tenancy-related matters where required    About You
Experience working within Temporary Accommodation, homelessness, or supported housing
Strong understanding xjnqpsq of domestic abuse, substance misuse, and complex needs
Confident working in challenging environments
Excellent multi-agency working skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently    This is a hands-on role suited to someone proactive, resilient, and experienced within housing support or homelessness services.
