As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in managing and supervising staff, delivering statutory social work services, and promoting the safety and wellbeing of children.

In addition to the salary advertised, you will receive a market premium of £2,750 per annum. We also offer a Golden Hello payment of £2,125 after one years service (for external candidates only).

Locality teams deliver statutory and targeted early help services to children and young people in need of support, protection and care. Buckinghamshire Council is a relatively new organisation that combines the strengths and expertise of the previous five councils in the county to create positive change for local people, communities, and businesses. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for social work.

• A recognized social work qualification
• Active SWE registration
• Substantial experience in direct work with vulnerable children
• The ability to manage and supervise a team effectively
• A commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children
