Locality Team Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a Locality Team in Aylesbury . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and families, completing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children and families within the Locality Team. Undertake assessments and identify children’s needs and risks. Develop and review care plans, ensuring children’s voices and needs are central to decision-making. Work collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals and other partner agencies. Undertake statutory social work duties in line with relevant legislation and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Requirements Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. Previous experience working within children’s social care . Experience managing a caseload within a locality, child protection or similar team. Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills. Ability to work effectively with children, families and multi-agency professionals. Why work through Pertemps?
